YYONAH BAIT COMPANY
WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT·PROJECT OVERVIEW / 2026
YONAH BAIT COMPANY / DIGITAL STOREFRONT

One home for
the brand.
One shop for
the water.

A custom, mobile-first shopping experience that keeps Yonah’s existing brand site intact and makes it simple to buy tackle and join the monthly Tin subscription.

BUILD PLAN STORE FIRST01 — 07
01THE BUILD / STACK

Three parts.
One smooth handoff.

Keep the existing Astro brand website. Build a separate Next.js shop and let Shopify handle commerce behind it.

BRAND WEBSITE / ASTRO

Yonah’s front porch.

Keep the current brand and Razor content on the main domain. Its Shop buttons link to the Next.js store.

SHOPIFY ADMIN + APPS
02WHAT THE STORE NEEDS TO DO

Made to sell.
Ready to grow.

The first version focuses on the essentials. New products can be added in Shopify and displayed in the shop without redesigning the whole site.

Product store

Feature the Yonah Tin first, with room for individual tackle, kits, rods, and reels.

One-time or subscribe

Offer the Tin individually or as a $24.99 monthly subscription with shipping included.

Secure checkout

Shopify handles checkout, payment processing, order creation, and payment records.

Customer accounts

Customers can sign in to view orders, update details, and manage subscriptions.

Shipping & tracking

Manage fulfillment in Shopify and send shipment tracking links to customers.

Meta tracking

Connect the Meta catalog, Pixel, and ecommerce conversion events for Facebook and Instagram.

Product / inventory note: the Yonah Tin should start as its own Shopify product and stock count. Shopify’s native Bundles app does not support subscription products; list the individual Tin contents separately and reconcile shared stock until a compatible inventory workflow is chosen.
03PLANNED WEBSITE PAGES

A small first release.
Room for the next cast.

These are the customer-facing pages and flows planned for the store. The custom admin remains Shopify Admin for the first release.
